Tips for a good concert experience
We want all guests to have a safe, secure and pleasant experience with us. Many are experienced as guests at concerts and events, while others may be having their first concert experience. In order for everyone to have as good an experience as possible, we have collected some tips that may be useful to take with you.
- Do not bring drinking bottles/thermos to the concert. Such bottles cannot be brought into the arena for security reasons, and we do not have the opportunity to store hundreds of them. If you are going to line up before the doors open and want to bring something to drink with you (which is a good idea!) then bring a disposable bottle instead.
- Skip the umbrella if it’s raining. Umbrellas cannot be brought in due to safety considerations, so a rain jacket or disposable rain poncho is best.
- The wardrobe options in the arena are very limited, so bear in mind that you must carry and look after your jacket throughout the evening. If you have tickets for a seat you can put your jacket on your seat, but if not you must wear or carry the jacket. A good tip might be to bring a light jacket/sweater that can be tied around the waist. And it might be a good idea not to wear the nicest/most expensive jacket you have, in case you are unlucky and lose it during the evening.
- Familiarize yourself in advance with which items you cannot take into the arena, so you avoid annoyance and unnecessary waiting time for yourself and the other guests in the entrance.
- Protect your ears! At some concerts there is a high sound level, in which case you should wear ear protection. Free earplugs are available throughout the arena. Ask the staff if you can’t find one.
- Turn off the flash when taking pictures. The flash can quickly be perceived as disturbing for both other guests around you and for the artists, and what’s more, the flash on your phone is not able to light up a room with many thousands of people anyway.
- Familiarize yourself and get an overview of where the toilets, catering, first aid and emergency exits are. If there is a queue for the toilet somewhere, there is often better capacity elsewhere. Feel free to ask the staff if you have any questions.
- Tell your friends if you leave the concert, so they don’t have to look for you in the crowd. Feel free to arrange a meeting place where you can meet if you get away from each other.
- Show consideration for others. Do not contribute to pressure in queues or in front of the stage. Walk to the side or diagonally backwards if you want to get out from the crowd. Pay attention to the place where a lot of people gather, such as at places of service, toilets and entrances/exits. Respect those who want to attend the concert and listen to the music – limit loud chatter.
- Finally – enjoy!
