Tips for a good concert experience

We want all guests to have a safe, secure and enjoyable experience with us. Many are experienced as guests at concerts and events, while others may be having their first concert experience. To ensure that everyone has the best experience possible, we have compiled some tips that may be useful to take with them.

  • Do not bring drinking bottles/thermos to the concert. Such bottles cannot be brought into the arena for safety reasons, and we do not have the opportunity to store hundreds of them. If you are going to stand in line before the doors open and want to bring something to drink with you (which is a good idea!), then bring a disposable bottle.
  • Umbrellas can not be brought in for safety reasons, so a rain jacket or disposable rain poncho is better to bring in stead of an umbrella.
  • Wardrobe facilities in the arena are very limited, so remember that you will have to bring and take care of your jacket all evening. If you have a seat, you can leave your jacket at your seat, but if you have a ticket to the general admission arena you must wear your jacket or carry it. A good tip might be to bring a light jacket/sweater that can be tied around your waist.
  • Make yourself familiar with what items you can and can’t bring into the arena in advance, so you can avoid annoyance and unnecessary waiting time for yourself and the other guests at the entrance.
  • Protect your hearing! At some concerts the sound level is high, and you should wear ear protection. Free earplugs are available throughout the arena. Ask the staff if you cannot find any.
  • Turn off the flash when taking photos. The flash can easily be perceived as disturbing to both other guests around you and the artists, and the flash on your phone is not able to light up a room with many thousands of people anyway.
  • Make yourself familiar, and get an overview of where the toilets, bars, first aid and emergency exits are. If there is a queue for the toilet somewhere, there is often better capacity elsewhere. Feel free to ask the staff if you have any questions.
  • Let your friends know if you are leaving the concert, so they don’t have to look for you in the crowd. It is advisable to agree on a meeting place where you can meet if you get separated.
  • Be considerate of others. Do not contribute to pressure in queues or in front of the stage. Walk to the side or diagonally backwards if you want to get out of the crowd. Be aware of places where a lot of people gather, such as at bars, toilets and entrances/exits. Respect those who want to attend the concert and listen to the music – limit loud chatter.
  • Finally – enjoy!
